Exactly. Nazi now so overused as a term for "someone who disagrees with my ritcheous beliefs", as a way to dehumanize them, to easily justify violence against them. Basically exactly what the Nazis did to justify their actions.
Like Antifa and "Bash the fash".

Despite the clickbait title, this is a pretty good example of investigative journalism. The subject of this article was labeled as a nazi online, but IRL he was a "Bernie Sanders democratic socialist" that looked like this: https://x.com/tracewoodgrains/status/1699961106763055176
